Betty? Sorry I drooled all over your beautiful linens, oh my you have some really, really nice pieces.
You know, I forgot about Show and Tell Sunday yet again and I do have some nice linens, better get over to Flickr and post some :)

I love embroidered linens too. It's so good that they are taken care of now. Don't you think? Somebody has put very much energy in embroidering a table cloth, I just cannot understand why people (relatives..) just throw these things away. Here in the Netherlands people rather use paper party clothes, like the ones Hallmark sells, than these pretties. I just don't understand...

Vicki

Beautiful photos! I love every piece. Boy, do I hope my future daughter likes vintage linens.... Otherwise, the daughter of one of my blog friends will be scooping them up by the armload at my future estate sale!!!! You have great taste. The colors are just so lovely.

I love how you repurposed the linen into the great shopping bag. I am afraid to cut up linens, I don't know what I think will happen, but I just haven't been able to do it. You are brave and courageous

REally enjoyed looking at your linen collection. You have an outstanding stash there! It's good that such valuable textiles can be saved from certain neglect. Not too many people know the value of those items.

Betty, you such an inspiration! I just LOVE that bag! Did you add the green and white material or was that a part of the towel. It is darn cute!! I saw something on a blog called "knick-knack, Ric-rac" where she framed some of her kitchen linens that had embroidered vegies and hung them on the kitchen walls.

You have the best ideas!!

Sarah

Love that bag with the puppy on it!

Alisa

Everything is simply beautiful! Love the bluebird pillowcases.
