Sunday was not only Easter, but my daughter-in-law's birthday. My daughter-in-law is always crocheting. She makes adorable stuffed creatures and other pretty projects. I've been saving a square of the cutest fabric to make something for her. Could it be any cuter? Blue Birds, pink bunnies, sweet baby deer and blue and red polka dot toadstools?
Using some of my favorite red and white polka dot fabric to go with it, I made her a new project bag to carry her yarn from place to place. I think she kinda liked it. I do too. Now, I need to find some more of this fabric for my daughter. She likes it too.
*Edited to add...I don't know the name of the fabric. I found it here.
Now who wouldn't like this fabric, or better this bag? I love it! I guess you don't have any sons left to marry at this moment LOL!

Betty,
That is one sweet bag for one sweet daughter-in-law. I especially like how the white rick-rack and red and white dotted fabric ground the sweet bluebird, deer, bunny etc fabric. Such nice work !
Sorry to have been away. I was under the weather yet again ! But right now I am enjoying the fabulous 70's and 80's temps we have been having in upstate NY. Tomorrow back down to the 50's. But the buds are out in force and the forsythia is blooming their little yellow leave-shaped hearts out !
Hope you are doing well, Hugs, Janice

Hi betty, I just discovered I can send your comments via Earthlink again. Typepad just wouldn't work for the longest time on this browser. I would have to bring up a Mac browser Safari when I wanted to visit you. That included Beverly, Dana, Tracy and anyone who had typepad. sigh! Anyway I came over because I could send my comment without so much trouble. YAH!
Now, I do love that darling bag. The red polka dot fabric just sets off the pattern perfectly. You are so creative Betty. I would not have thought of that combo at all. Did you wear your new dress yet?
It is cold here again today. AND very windy. The saving grace is the sun is shining. Love that sun today.
See you tomorrow,
Hugs, Jeanne

Betty I love coming here to visit! You make the cutest things ever. You know how much I love your paper art, and your pincushions drive me to distraction. Now I find that you sew clothes as well as paint furniture - holy cow and go to school! Keep in your heart Betty that good things are in your future, I promise you this. Best wishes always headed your way! E
