We've had some cold and rainy weather here. That's ok though because it gives me time to play inside. I've got glitter everywhere. The dog has glitter on his cute little nose. My dinner table has glitter. I can't help it though. Christmas creations just seem to need glitter!! Pic borrowed from Elizabeth
My tags for Elizabeth's Peppermint Christmas Tag Swap have been mailed. 22 tags cut by hand, glittered and hot glued. Tiny little pink candy canes made from pipe cleaners on the back and the cutest ever stamp from Mary Engelbreit applied to pink tickets! I found the snowman stamp in the dollar bins at Michaels months ago. Isn't it cute!
I also made a banner for the top of the piano. WONDER. I may add LAND when I have more time. The images were from Sandy McClay's Christmas Cd collection. The adorable silver tinsel on the tags and my banner came from my friend Analise's Sugar*Sugar shop. I love it and can't find enough reasons to use it!
My hubby and I also found curtains that we both like. They're a pretty plaid taffeta in red, greens and brown. We may buy wood blinds to go under them but right now they're framing the window perfectly. I have some vintage lace that I want to sew on the bottom when I'm done playing with glitter.
I have so much more to share. My apron pockets from another of Elizabeth's swaps came too. I'll share them in my next post. They're so cute. I'm trying to figure out how to display them in my tiny kitchen.
