Betty, What a delightful group of stores. Of all the fun and beautiful things in all the shops the Mary Englebreit bags really caught my eye. To my knowledge, there are no shops in my area for vintage and antiques. There are plenty of antique stores in Berkshire Co.,Mass, an hour eastward and also in Lake George, NY, an hour northward. But not as large as the stores you have showed. Another reason to live in sunny California !!!! Janice

Thanks for sharing pics of your fav shops!!

What lovely pictures, so bright, fresh and clean. I'd love to visit and shop those places. I had an Aunt that used to live in Visalia but I was too young to remember let alone shop there. Too bad.

Betty....I have always wanted to go to Good Goods.
Thanks for showing the pics. I have heard of the famous hot dogs too. My son usually has some football stuff in Visalia. Next time, I will have to try both! Also, The Emporium is where I first started selling....I love it there.Sounds like you had a great weekend!

Well, I have to make a trip to Visalia! I've been to Clovis many times - such fun. I wish it was a tad closer with the price of gas the way it is. It's about a three hour drive from here. Oh, well. It looks like a divine store.

Oh, my gosh, I'd have so much fun browsing! I'd even have to save up some money just so I could buy something nice.
BTW, I got the fabric for my apron from the site reprodepotfabrics.com--as the name indicates, they sell reproductive vintage fabrics. There are some cute things there!

Oooh, the doorway in that shop is wonderful, what a cool place to go.

Beverly

I do believe I would like to go shopping with you. And, I just might want a hot dog, too. Will that be okay?

Jenny

Betty, thanks for taking us shopping -- they don't let me out much... for good reason! That pink framed dressed is awfully cute. It's a cute idea to do with a favorite child's outfit. Looks like you had a mighty nice time.

I'd do that trade too, if I were you! Love the shop pictures! Cute idea you pointed out, the clothes in a frame! I just saw Robin (Thrifty Priss) do this very thing!
