I spent all morning trying to balance my bank account. That depressed me so I spent the rest of the day consciously avoiding the lure of the peanut butter fudge in the kitchen. I decided to get out the Tanya Whelan fabric that I have been hoarding and sew. I was working on heart shaped sachets.
Kim at Daisy Cottage calls her stuffed fabric hearts-bowl fillers. I added some lavender to mine when I was stuffing them and they smell so good. Aromatherapy for the soul. I played with buttons and lace and before long I had forgotten that I was now broke and in need of a fudge fix. I stopped long enough to scramble some eggs with green chili and Christmas ham, kissed the hubby goodbye as he went off to work and went back to my sewing.
When I stopped, I had made three sachets and a pretty new pincushion for my Lollishop. I also had the perfect post for Beverly's Pink Saturday. As long as I can sew, I can keep posting on Saturday. I've got quilts planned and more sachets and maybe even an apron or two.
Make sure to stop over at Beverly's. Don't forget to visit the other Pink Saturday participants. Take the time to read Beverly's post about Christmas memories. It brought a tear to my eye.
Happy PS! I love your pictures here!.. so beautiful! Hope you had a great Xmas time! Take care! xo

Betty, What a lovely collage of pink goodness. The heart sachets and pincushions are so pretty and of course I always love your signature roses. Sewing that wonderful fabric must have been so much fun.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
