Happy Pink Saturday. Beverly and I and many of our pink friends are joining the Where Bloggers Create II Blog Party hosted by Karen at My Desert Cottage. I've been looking forward to this event since last years blog party. I would never have guessed that I would be packing to move to a new house during this years party! My house is almost packed up. I've saved my office for last so you can see it one more time before we move. Our new house has a big family room that I will be turning into my office/studio. At this point I don't have a clue how I will turn a family room with a fireplace into my own space. My hubby is under the misconception that he will be able to sit in a recliner and enjoy the fire. *wink*wink* We shall see. I'm hoping to find some inspiration during this years blog tour. As you can see I love boxes and I keep everything from thread and seam binding to paper and stamps in them. Some are vintage. Most of them came from Tuesday Morning.
I not only save things in boxes; I also love old jars. I fill jars with collections that range from marbles to spools of thread. When I bring something home from an estate sale to put in my office, my hubby sometimes looks at me like I've lost my marbles. I tell him not to worry because I've got lots of marbles. They're in a jar on my book case!
Lovely space Betty. I love the same things you do ande love old tins and boxes and jars too. I often admire the monotone monochromatic spaces of some of the other ladies but I think we have to be true to ourselves and not aim to be like everybody else.

Hi Betty,
What fun vibrant colors...always good for inspiration! Oh, you will make that fireplace one of your focal points..find some crocheted pieces to lay across the mantle and make it yours! :0)
It's such a pleasure to be back for the party again this year and visiting all of the wonderful creative souls and their creative space. Thank you for sharing yours with me.
I would love for you to visit with me and stroll through my studio..it's been a labor of love to put together and now after a year in our home putting everything together as it should be I feel like I can "spread my wings" and fly!
Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥

Hello Betty!
You are moving and I only know of it now! Boy, have I been away that long.
I love your banner (I don't think that's the right term - you know, those triangle ones you hang?) I forgot what's the right term for it :-) Anyway, I think have those makes a place more festive :-)
I hope and pray that your move will go smoothly. It seems like there are lots to look forward to - one is your new creative place which I'm assuming will be much much bigger! :-) That would be nice to see you decorate it :-)
Also, I think the last paragraph (with you and your husband) is funny :-)
I missed visiting blogs and people I have come to know. I have been so away for so long, the really world has gotten it's toll on me and my family. And as things have been progressing well (very grateful about that), I'm also trying to go back and blog and visit again.
Mizpah,
Li

Hi Betty! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. I really enjoyed looking at your space and I see you DO love my turquoise too! Can't wait to see what you do at your new home. Silly husbands, I have one too. Mine is always saying "Why do you get two bathrooms, a studio and a sunroom all to yourself". I always answer the same... "Because I'm the QUEEN" :) Have a great week, Nan
