I've been sorting linens and I thought this pile made a pretty picture for Pink Saturday. We found a home. We made an offer on another house but someone outbid us. We returned to the house that had been at the top of our list. Luck was with us and the price had dropped $20,000 so we made an offer. With very minor changes they accepted our offer and we are in escrow!! Didn't that go by quick? We hope to be in our new house before the end of July. Which means, I have less than two months to get our belongings sorted. I've given away four bags to Goodwill so far. My hubby was laughing at me because so many of the things I am sending to Goodwill came from estate sales or the Goodwill. Guess I should have thought twice before bringing them home. All of these linens are going with me though.
Did you notice where I am sorting them? On my blanket. I finished it!
It doesn't quite fit my bed but it will fold nicely at the bottom and be good to snuggle under while watching t.v. next winter. Maybe I'll even have a mug of cocoa while I snuggle. Speaking of mugs-the mug set from my previous Pink Saturday post is going to CC at Lace 'n' Ribbon Roses. CC is recuperating from a broken pelvis and I hope that the mug will encourage her to rest and sip some tea. I met CC through Pink Saturdays and she is a real sweetheart. Go visit her and wish her a Happy Pink Saturday!
What a sweet stash! Love vintage linens too! Happy Pink Saturday:)

wow...moving. There is nothing like moving to help you sort out and clean out! That is surely one advantage. Sweet things you have there!

Dear Sweet Betty:
How are you?
I wondered if I offended you with my comment long time ago : (
I think kindly of you and am glad I can come by and say hello today.
Come by and say hi and see how my grand baby looks in the tutu I made her months ago.
Much love & peace

Yipee!!!!!!! I am so glad you got a house to make your own home, full of love. I can't wait to see your great decorating and cute things in it.
Your linens are wonderful. Did I spy some rose pillow cases. I thought I saw some that look like what I was lucky enough to find while thrifting...I fell in love with them. I have been washing and putting them right back on for a few months now, even though I have plenty of others in the linen closet!!
I am so very happy for you and your family. Can I come help you pack??!
