My mail box has been full of good things the last week. First came my cuter than cute fabric collage from Kelly at Cherry Kingdom. Kelly spoiled me with lots of goodies she sent along with her collage.
Isn't it cute how she sewed a vintage Valentine onto the fabric? I wouldn't have thought of that.
This is the collage I sent Kelly. I used a vintage Valentine of a little girl carrying a big Valentine. I printed it on an iron on sheet and then I sewed daisies over the Valentine. I wanted it to look like she was bringing a pot of flowers to the door.
I received three more Valentines too. This adorable little sewing girl was from Linda at Felted Folksies.
Joyce at Scrap for Joy made this beautiful pink heart.
I hung out with Paula on a New Year's craft along and won this adorable felted heart. Paula sent along the gnome and mushroom too. I love gnomes. Have you seen Gnomeo and Juliet? I can't wait to see it!
Isn't blog land wonderful!
Hi Betty,
I was in the Fabric Collage Swap too. Wheren't they fun to make? I just loved the one you made. Hope all is well with you. I think we both have been on the same path. Moving to a new house and going to school. I have missed you.
Hugs,
Elizabeth
