It's 89° at 7:30 p.m.. Inside the house it is hotter. The air conditioner isn't working. No one can come out to fix it until tomorrow. I'll be spending the night out here. Happy Pink Saturday. Happy Mother's Day. I'm going up to my brother's house in the mountains on Sunday. He's barbecuing for all of the mothers. If my air conditioner gets fixed, I'm making cream cheese filled strawberries. If it doesn't...I'm bring plain strawberries. Have a good weekend everyone.
Well it's not even 60 here, so stop that nonsense missy, lol.
Happy Mother's Day dear Betty. Have fun at your brothers and I hope you can make your cream cheese strawberries, what ever that entails.
You'll have to give us that recipe gf.
Happy hot day HA

Wow, this is a hot situation Betty. What is that poster half showing? Did I miss something? I hope your air is fixed soon you poor thing. We are still using heat at night. We had another cold spell. It should warm up to 70 tomorrow. I love the pink flowers on your fence in the background.
Cream cheese stuffed strawberries??? I can't imagine how you do that. However, YUM!!!
Have fun at your brother's house and I hope it is cooler in the mountains where he lives.
Happy Mother's Day to you this weekend.
Love, Jeanne

I'd love to be spending time out in the garden. However, it's barely 50 degrees here and I have my little heater blowing on me. It's been a cold, cold spring. Enjoy the warmth for me!
Happy Mother's Day!

Oh Betty, I've been there, and I know how devastating the heat can be. Last summer, at the very peak of the worst heat of the summer, 95+, both central air units quit. We had had a brownout the week before, and the capacitors on both units were fried. Go somewhere cool and lay low! I pray that the situation will be resolved quickly. Happy Mother's Day! Hugs, Terri

Oh Betty,
No air conditioning ! That's the pits ! I hope it gets fixed on schedule. And I hope you have a great mother's day at your brother's house with all of your family. And that it is cooler there.
We had reservations at one of my favorite restaurants for today, BUT my back went out two days ago and hasn't COME BACK YET ! It is on the mend but I wasn't up to doing much traveling. We will probably do take out.
I was trying to figure out what you had displayed on your computer screen. The images where really sweet !
Hugs, Janice

Hi Betty.....ooooooh, I hope your A/C is running by now!! We turned ours on this a.m. for the first time (it hit the 90s today!)...and my husband announced "call Tony" (our repair guy). EEEEEKKK...we have the A/C from you know where. This will be the 7th summer for it..and we've had trouble with it every single year!!! Thankfully, we have an 8 yr. warranty. BUT, after I left a message at the repairman's..it started working!! He can't come until NEXT WEEK anyway....so I'm praying it keeps on chugging away.
I hope you had a great Mother's Day weekend...and a wonderful Pink Saturday. I had a wonderful weekend....ran a 5k with my daughter (she walked!! :) and niece, then went to the niece's house for a great gathering.
Enjoy your evening!!! dana
